About the race
Dogtown Doggy Dash is a dog-friendly running event in Dogtown, St. Louis, held on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Clayton Avenue and Tamm Avenue. The event is organized by Dogtown Running Club and Blank Slate and is presented by Garcia Properties and Instinct Pet Food.
The event offers multiple course options:
- 5K timed event for humans and dogs
- 1 mile untimed fun run for humans and dogs
The 5K is a timed race for both humans and canine entrants; the 1 mile is untimed and suitable for walkers. Human participants receive a race shirt and a finisher keychain. Dogs receive a bandana and a finisher dog tag. The course includes two water stops with splash zones for dogs. Awards are given to the top three finishers in men’s and women’s divisions and to the top three male and female dogs, with lululemon presenting the top three men and women prizes.
Post-race offerings at the finish area include Instinct Pet Food samples and a dog-first aid station, dog pools and games, Sweet Em’s food and drinks with a free puppy biscuit for every dog, and beer from Urban Chestnut Brewing Co. for participants 21 and older.
