Dogtown Doggy Dash : Dogtown, St. Louis
Dogtown Doggy Dash is an annual community race held in the Dogtown neighborhood of St. Louis at Clayton Avenue and Tamm Avenue. The event on Sunday, September 13, 2026 includes options for both humans and dogs and is hosted by Dogtown Running Club with production by Blank Slate.
Race offerings:
- 5K for humans and dogs
- 1 mile untimed for humans and dogs
Participants receive event apparel and finisher items: humans are listed as receiving race shirts and finisher keychains, while dogs receive bandanas and finisher dog tags. The course includes two water stops with splash zones for dogs and walking is permitted on both distances. Post-race amenities include doggie pools, a dog-first aid station and product samples from Instinct Pet Food, food service from Sweet Em’s, and beer from Urban Chestnut Brewing Company for those 21 and older. Awards are planned for top finishers in human and dog categories, with top human prizes presented by lululemon.
Packet pickup is available Friday, September 11 at Running Niche (1601 Tower Grove Ave) from 3:00 to 6:00 pm, and at the race site the morning of the event during the listed packet pickup window. The St. Louis Zoo is opening two parking lots for participant use and additional street parking is available.
