Dogtown Doggy Dash
Dogtown Doggy Dash is the 4th annual community race in the Dogtown neighborhood of St. Louis, held on September 13, 2026 at Clayton Avenue and Tamm Avenue. The event is hosted by Dogtown Running Club and Blank Slate and presented by Garcia Properties and Instinct Pet Food.
The event offers these course options:
- 5K, timed, for humans and dogs
- 1 mile, untimed, for humans and dogs
Both courses are open to walkers. Registered humans receive a race shirt and a finisher keychain. Registered dogs receive a bandana and a finisher dog tag. The 5K includes two water stops with splash zones for dogs, and all finishers receive a finisher reward. There is an opportunity for on-site photos of participants with their dogs.
Post-race amenities at the finish area include product samples and a dog first aid station from a presenting sponsor, doggie pools and games, food and drink offerings with a free puppy biscuit for each dog, and beer service for participants aged 21 and over. Awards are given for top three finishers in the 5K for both humans and dogs, with separate categories for top women, top men, top female dogs, and top male dogs.
Packet pickup is available the Friday before the race at Running Niche and on the race day at the race site. The St. Louis Zoo is opening two parking lots for participant use and additional street parking is available throughout Dogtown. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
