The Dog Daze 5K takes place on Saturday, February 7, 2026 in Columbia, SC. The start and finish are at Olde Woodlands Park, 6500 Olde Knight Parkway, Columbia, SC 29209. The event distance is 5K. Course, logistics and awards
The course follows the former "Sweat It Out 5K" route and is described as flat and fast. Dogs are allowed on the course but must be on a leash. Packet pick-up is available the day before at Craft & Draft on Devine Street and on race morning at Olde Woodlands Park. Shirts are guaranteed for registrations by January 15, 2026. The event includes awards for the Top 3 Dogs to finish, Top 3 overall male and female, masters and age-group awards every five years, and Top 3 Largest Registered Teams. Team registrations of five or more receive a $5 discount per registration. The event is rain or shine; there are no refunds, no deferrals, and no bib transfers after February 1, 2026.
