DMAC Monster Dash Fun Run 5k and Trick or Treat Trail
The event at North Lakes Park in Denton, TX includes a timed fun run/walk and a family-oriented trick-or-treat trail. Registration is required for participants and includes a running bib, entry to a pre-race costume contest, and a themed T-shirt for the first 100 registrants. A kids special pricing of $20 is noted and does not include the themed T-shirt; standard registration for the 5K is listed at $30.
The running course is slightly over 5K (about 3.3 miles) and passes the trick-or-treat trail twice. Participants may run or walk; the race will be timed. The trick-or-treat element follows the existing cement sidewalk along Windsor Drive and is ADA accessible. Candy stations will be placed along the sidewalk path and maps of the trail and candy stops will be provided.
Vendors and local businesses will be present in the playground and picnic area of North Lakes Park. The trick-or-treat trail route and vendor area are organized within the park setting at 2001 W. Windsor Dr., Denton, TX 76201. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
