Divot Dash 5K Run/Walk "Fore the Cause"
The Divot Dash is the third annual fun run and walk held at Green Oaks Golf Course in Ypsilanti, Michigan. The event is a fundraiser for the Art Serafinski Scholarship Fund, a need based program that provides children up to age 17 with reduced rates for township recreation classes and leagues, offering 50 percent off registration fees and up to $250 in aid per child per calendar year.
The event features a 5K course routed entirely on a golf course. Although the course is on an operational golf facility, golfers will not be on course at the same time as participants. Runners and walkers should expect uneven terrain typical of a golf course; the route passes fairways, bunkers, ponds and greens and uses natural surfaces in a fully enclosed layout. The event will be timed by A2 Race Management. Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age category, with age group breakdowns dependent on registration numbers. The event proceeds in all weather.
Registration opens May 8, 2026. Early pricing applies through August 15 at $25, August 16 through September 20 at $30, and after September 20 at $35. Shirts are guaranteed for entrants who register before September 20; shirts for later registrants are subject to availability.
