Event information
Disco PBR is scheduled for Saturday, September 12, 2026, in Anaconda, MT at 180 Discovery Basin Rd. The event is a sprint SUP triathlon held near Echo Lake and Discovery Ski Area on the Echo Lake Trails. The course begins and ends at Discovery Ski Area and comprises three segments:
- 10K mountain bike
- 2K paddleboard
- 6K foot race
Registration opens April 18, 2026 at 8:00 am MDT. The listed entry fee is $75. The event is open to ages 10 to 100.
Equipment and logistics
Each solo participant must provide a mountain bike and helmet (full suspension is not required) and a stand-up paddleboard (SUP) with PFD and paddle. Teams must supply their own mountain bike and SUP for their riders. Volunteer staff can transport equipment between Echo Lake (exchange location) and Discovery Ski Basin (start/finish) if the participant chooses that option at the registration desk on race day. Participants may transport their own gear; SUPs may be dropped off at the Echo Lake area by NLT 9:30 am on race day. Sponsors and a downloadable course PDF are listed by the organizer.
