Event overview
The Scott Sports Dirty Dozen Adventure Trail Run is a trail race held at Tackeroo Campsite, Penkridge Bank, near Rugeley in Staffordshire. The event is in its 13th year and uses off-road trails around Cannock Chase. The main route is a single-lap loop of natural trails, with undulating elevation, climbs and fast descents. The course is fully off-road and includes stone tracks, muddy singletrack and a feature called the "Ditch of Doom" with an alternative dry line. Water is provided at regular intervals along the route.

Practical information
Event categories cover Adults and Juniors (ages 14–49), Vets (50+), and a Kids event for under 14s (age on the day). Parents may run alongside children in the U14 race and all young finishers receive a medal and a small prize. Race numbers are not posted out in advance; sign-on is required on the day. The venue offers on-site parking close to the start/finish, camping facilities, toilets, catering, bag storage and a professional photographer. The course is shaped in a figure-8 around the arena to allow spectators to view multiple points. A Scott Sports shoe demo is planned during the event. Prize presentation is scheduled shortly after the third female finisher; full results and photos are published the Monday after the race.
