The Dirt Days Trail Series - Mt. Airy Ridge Run is held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, at Mt. Airy Forest in Cincinnati, Ohio (5083 Colerain Ave). The race takes place inside the city’s largest park, which covers 1,469.9 acres and includes extensive trails, evergreens, hardwoods, open meadows, streams, hill climbs, and ridge sections. This race is the third leg of the Dirt Days Trail Series and its results count toward series points.

The course is a counter-clockwise loop. The one-lap option is about 5.4 miles; the two-lap option is about 10.6 miles. Each distance is scored separately. A "Trekker" category is offered for both distances; trekkers receive a recorded time and participation credit and have a separate start option to allow more time to finish.
Registration, timing and amenities
Pre-registration is priced at $23.50 per race and is offered online only; children 14 and under receive a $5 discount. There is no early packet pick-up; on-site check-in is available on race day. Timing uses MyLaps disposable bib tags built into the race bib. Age-graded awards will be presented and randomly drawn door prizes are offered. Trail Series shirts are available for $20.
