Course and logistics
The course runs on the Backpack Trail and is described as densely wooded. Direction of the course reverses each year; it is clockwise for 2026. The race begins and ends at the south beach on the south side of the lake; participants are advised to use Route 125 rather than Route 32. GPS coordinates for the beach are 39.016999, -84.133509. The organizers will begin sweeping the course around 9:30 so first laps must be completed by then.
Registration, fees and awards
All registration is online, including race-day registration. The stated registration fee is $22.50, with a $5 discount for children 14 and under; one trekker event listed has a $23 fee. Race-day online registration and check-in are available during the published registration window. Disposable timing chips will be used.
