Diez Vista
Diez Vista is a trail running event around Sasamat and Buntzen Lakes in Belcarra Regional Park near Port Moody, British Columbia. The race has run since 1997; the 2026 edition is the 28th year.
The main event is a 50 km course that uses west coast rainforest singletrack and gravel service roads, with roots, rocks and muddy sections. Runners face roughly 2000 m of ascent and 2000 m of descent while traversing the Diez Vistas ridge and the trails around Buntzen Lake, including a suspension bridge at North Beach. The start and finish are at White Pine Beach on Sasamat Lake.
Support on course includes six aid stations (AS #1 through AS #6), with food and fluids available at several sites. Participants may leave one drop bag to be transported to Aid Station #3. The race offers two ITRA points for this edition. Organizers limit entries to 575 runners; the 2026 event is listed as sold out.
Event details in the source include pre race package pickup locations, a cupless policy at aid stations, rules prohibiting poles pacers and pets at the start and finish, headphone guidelines, and a post race meal with BBQ and sushi for runners and volunteers.
