Diez Vista

Event
Diez Vista is a 50-kilometer trail run. The 2026 edition on April 11 will be the 28th edition of this Western Canadian classic.
Course
The route follows rugged west coast trails around Sasamat and Buntzen Lakes, traversing the Diez Vistas ridge. The event describes the trail as having "some roots, some rocks, some mud & some nice trail". The start and finish are at White Pine Beach on Sasamat Lake, within Belcarra Regional Park in Port Moody, British Columbia.
Participation
A maximum of 575 entries are accepted due to permitting restrictions. There is no waitlist.
Registration and Fees
The entry fee is $195 plus processing fees. From each registration, $10 goes to support Coquitlam Search & Rescue. Additionally, a tree is planted locally for every registration. A free kids race is also offered as a charitable donation.
Included with Registration
Every participant receives a custom Diez Vista hoodie, a beer glass, an event tote bag, and a sticker. A post-race BBQ, soup, and sushi are also provided.
Notes
The event offers ITRA points. UTMB points are no longer available. Registrations are non-transferable, non-deferrable, and non-refundable, except with optional refund protection. Partial deferrals to other Coast Mountain Trail Running events may be possible under specific conditions. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
