Diez Vista : overview
Diez Vista is a trail ultra held Saturday, April 12, 2025, near Port Moody, BC. Distances:

The main course starts and finishes at Sasamat Lake in Belcarra Regional Park and runs on trails around Buntzen Lake, including the Diez Vistas trail. Terrain includes west coast rainforest singletrack and gravel service roads with roots, rocks, mud and some smoother trail. Runners face about 2000 m / 6500 ft of total ascent and the same amount of descent.
Course details and event logistics
The 50 km race has multiple aid stations located roughly at 8 km, 15 km, 21 km, 29 km, 35 km, 42 km and the finish at ~50 km. Aid Station #3 accepts one labeled drop bag per runner; drop bags must be small, labelled, handed in at the start, and will be returned to the start once the aid station closes. Some mid-course aid stations have cutoffs; runners who miss those cutoffs will be recorded as DNF and offered transport back to Sasamat Lake.
The event is cupless (no disposable cups). Headphones are allowed at low volume. Poles, pacers and pets are not permitted on course; leashed dogs are allowed only at some aid stations and are not allowed at the start/finish. There is no mandatory gear list.
