About the race
The Dick’s-A-Thon is a Seattle event that combines running with stops at Dick’s Drive In restaurants to sample menu items. It is presented as a marathon-distance challenge with several route options and fundraising for outdoor and rescue organizations. The event date is October 17, 2026. Net proceeds support The Mountaineers Access Fund Scholarship, Snohomish Search and Rescue, King County Search and Rescue, Seattle Mountain Rescue, the Washington State SAR Planning Unit, Whatcom County SAR, and the Washington National Parks Fund.
Registration options include participants who run multiple distances and a nonrunning option. Registrations typically include an official Dick’s-A-Thon race bib, a Dick’s-A-Thon t-shirt, and vouchers for menu items. Aid stations on the longer routes provide water and electrolytes.

- Full Dick’s: 26.3 miles, full menu, registration $135.
- Half Dick’s: 14.5 miles, three menu items, registration $135.
- Menu Muncher: 0 miles, five menu items, registration $135.
- Victory lap: about 5.5 miles, one menu item, registration $60.
