Dick Beardsley Races - Detroit Lakes
The Dick Beardsley Races take place in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, each September and offer multiple course options for runners and walkers. The event includes a Half Marathon, a 10K, a 5K, and a Youth Run that follow scenic Minnesota roadways and pass areas of fall foliage.
Registration for the races is open. Registered participants receive a commemorative finisher medal, a wearable swag item, a race bib, and finisher photos. The courses are professionally managed and the races are professionally timed.
The event includes community-oriented features beyond the races. A Friday night pasta dinner is held before race day, and Dick Beardsley is scheduled to attend and perform there; he is also available at the event for meet-and-greet opportunities.
