Dew What You Say 5K
The Wayne State Physical Therapy Department is hosting a 5K run and a 1 Mile walk on October 10, 2026, as a fundraiser to support a pro bono physical therapy clinic that provides care to uninsured and underinsured members of the Detroit community. The race start location is outside the Mort Harris Fitness and Recreation Center at 5210 Gullen Mall, Detroit, MI 48202. This is a new location compared to last year.

Registration information is provided for each event. The 5K registration opens April 17, 2026; the 1 Mile registration opens May 14, 2026. Registration closes September 19, 2026. The registration fee is $25.00 per participant. The first 100 participants will receive a complimentary tote bag.
Logistics note: street parking is available along Warren Avenue, and additional parking is at Parking Structure 6, 6056 Cass Ave, Detroit, MI 48202. Campus restrooms will not be open until 11:00 AM, and nearby local businesses are available for use. Leashed pets are welcome. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
