Devon Duathlon Autumn

Devon Duathlon Autumn is held at Roadford Lake, Broadwoodwidger, Lifton, PL16 0RL. The event hosts a European Championship Standard Distance Duathlon qualifier for the British Triathlon GB Age-Group Team; athletes must enter the race and register their intent to qualify by 5pm on the Friday before the qualifying race.

Roadford Lake offers very quiet roads, traffic free trails and ample space for transition and parking. For 2026 the Standard Distance will start as a mass start and the Sprint race will start ten minutes later.

Distances:

  • Standard Duathlon: 10K run, 46K bike, 5K run.
  • Sprint Duathlon: 5K run one lap, 20K bike lap, 2.5K run.

The event uses professional chip timing with transition splits. Medals are provided for all finishers and prizes are awarded to category winners. The event is British Triathlon affiliated. On-site facilities include a cafe serving hot food and drinks, a commentator with music, public liability insurance, professional first aid, and a camping and camper van site. The event is described as spectator friendly.
