Devon Adventure Triathlon 2027
The Devon Adventure Triathlon takes place in North Devon from 10 to 12 Sept 2027 around Westward Ho! and the River Torridge area. The event is limited to 30 participants and combines three disciplines over separate sections.
Distances
- 3 mile kayak starting from Bideford Quay along the River Torridge estuary.
- 40 mile cycle through rolling countryside with steep ascents, coastal descents, villages and moorland.
- 13 mile run on trails, lanes and sea‑view paths toward Westward Ho!
The weekend package includes two nights accommodation and meals (three evening meals, two lunches and two breakfasts). Event services listed by the organiser include kayak and bike support, GPS tracking, race drink and food, photography, video, event clothing, insurance, a race medal and a finisher goodie pack. Sponsored event tri suits are provided and are mandatory to wear during the event; an event T shirt is also supplied.
Entry details note a minimum sponsorship target of £500 per person and that 100% of sponsorship money will go to named charities, with Children’s Hospice South West as the main charity and Blood Bikes South West also supported. Registration requires a deposit in September 2026 and the remaining balance by 6 April 2027.
