Devon Adventure Triathlon 2027
The Devon Adventure Triathlon takes place over two days, 18 to 19 September 2027, in Westward Ho! and North Devon. The event begins at North Devon Wake Park with a two-lap stand-up paddleboard obstacle course before moving to the cycling and running legs.
Distances and course layout include:
- SUP two-lap obstacle course at North Devon Wake Park
- Bike: 40 miles or 56 miles through North Devon countryside
- Run: 10 km or 13 miles across Northam Burrows to Westward Ho!
Capacity is limited to 50 participants. The entry fee is to be confirmed and a minimum sponsorship target of £250 per person applies. One hundred percent of sponsorship money is allocated to charity, with Children’s Hospice South West and Blood Bikes South West listed as supported causes; 20 places are allocated to Children’s Hospice South West and 6 places to Blood Bikes South West.
Event services include bike and run support, GPS tracking, race drink and food, finish-line pint and pizza, photography and video, sponsored event tri suits (mandatory) and an event T-shirt, insurance, a personalized finisher mug, a race medal, and awards for first long distance, first mid distance and most raised. Entry is solo and times are recorded individually.
Participants must provide their own bike and helmet. Organisers recommend a road bike and suggest bringing trainers, towel, change of clothes and a camel pack for water.
