Event Overview
The Devils River Run and Ride for Hope is a combined running and cycling event held at the McKenna Ranch on 10929 South Dolan Creek Road, approximately 44 miles north of Del Rio, Texas. It takes place on a Saturday in mid-April. The event supports Brooke’s Blossoming Hope for Childhood Cancer Foundation, a nonprofit organization serving children with cancer.

The event features six different races across running and mountain biking disciplines.
Running Events:
- Marathon
- Half Marathon (also open for rucking)
- 5K Walk/Run
Cycling Events:
- Devils River Ride (a 53-mile gravel endurance bike event)
- Cave Well Ride (a 13-mile mountain bike event described as advanced/difficult)
- Eagle Bluff Ride (a 7.4-mile mountain bike event described as beginner/moderately difficult)
Event Details
All races finish at the McKenna Ranch. The courses use roads and trails in the Devils River State Natural Area and Val Verde County. Registration has participant caps: 70 entrants each for the Marathon and the 53-mile gravel bike ride, 70 for the Half Marathon, and 200 each for the 5K and the two mountain bike rides.
