Detroit Riverfront Run : Event overview
The Detroit Riverfront Run is scheduled for June 6, 2026 and benefits the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy. The event features both a 5K and a 10K run and walk, with a course that showcases the Detroit Riverwalk and the Dequindre Cut.
All participants receive a commemorative T-shirt, a participation medal, and post-race snacks. An optional performance running hat is offered for an additional fee and is distributed at packet pickup.
Packet pickup is scheduled on June 4 at Eastern Market Shed 2, with additional race day pickup available at the start and finish area in Cullen Plaza. Free parking for race participants is provided at the River East Garage located near the race start and finish.
Registration fees are published with tiered pricing: for the 5K the fee is $40 before April 27 and $45 afterwards through May 31; for the 10K the fee is $50 before April 27 and $55 afterwards through May 31.
