The course passes horses, planted landscapes and areas that resemble countryside within the estate.
Event distances include:
- 15 km
- 10 km
- 5 km
- 3 km
The event offers timing, a medal and certificate, a shirt, refreshments and a snack with fruit juice. Music is provided along the route and the atmosphere is described as community-oriented, with parents and children often running together. Advanced and recreational participants are listed among the expected attendees. Practical race information and course maps are available in downloadable event documents labeled Race Brief and All Course Maps. Registration, category changes and cancellations are governed by specified deadlines and refund conditions as posted by the organiser.
The race takes place within the private roads and facilities of the Desert Palm estate adjacent to the Melia Desert Palm Hotel and uses a mix of grass, sandy urban tracks and paved sections. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
