Event overview
Derwent Reservoir Trail Runs take place at Derwent Waterside Park, Derwent Reservoir, Edmundbyers, Consett, County Durham. The trail runs are held from the south side of the reservoir and follow routes that use mostly firm trails and footpaths, with some sections on grass and through woodland. The event is held alongside Sprint (Short) and Standard Duathlons.
Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. The event is Canicross friendly and allows one controlled dog per runner. On-site parking is available for a fee of £3 per vehicle, payable by cash or card. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. An official event T-shirt is offered for an additional charge.

- 5 km Trail Run – open to entrants aged 11 and over
- 10 km Trail Run – open to entrants aged 15 and over
Entry fees vary by distance and options; combined race-and-T-shirt packages are offered alongside standard entries. Route maps are provided for the 5 km and 10 km courses.
