Derwent Reservoir Trail Runs - Sunday 17 May 2026
The event offers trail running at Derwent Reservoir from the south side of the reservoir, alongside Sprint (Short) and Standard Duathlons. The reservoir is owned by Northumbrian Water and sits on the border of Durham and Northumberland. The venue address is Derwent Waterside Park, Derwent Reservoir, Edmundbyers, Consett, DH8 9TT.
Most of the routes use firm trails and footpaths, with some sections on grass and through woodland. Live chip timing will be provided by Timing Up North. The event is Canicross friendly and permits one controlled dog per runner.
All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. An official event T-shirt can be added for £12.00 when registering. Parking is available on site for £3 per vehicle, payable by cash or card.
