Event
Derwent Reservoir Trail Runs take place on Sunday 17 May 2026 at Derwent Waterside Park, Derwent Reservoir, Edmundbyers, Consett (DH8 9TT). The programme includes a 5 km trail run and a 10 km trail run. The runs take place from the south side of the reservoir and follow mapped routes around the reservoir and nearby paths. The event also runs alongside Sprint (Short) and Standard Duathlons.

- 10 km : age 15 and over
Practical information
Most of the course is on firm trails and footpaths, with some sections on grass and through woodland. The event is Canicross friendly and allows one controlled dog per runner. Live chip timing is provided by Timing Up North. All finishers receive an event medal, Wild Deer merchandise, and a snack and drink. An official event T-shirt can be added for £12 when signing up.
