Dereham 10 Mile Race - 23 August 2026
The Dereham 10 Mile Race takes place in Dereham with Race HQ at Neatherd High School, Norwich Road, Dereham, Norfolk NR20 3AX (what3words: snug.gliding.rejoin). The event is the twelfth and final race in the Sportlink Grand Prix Series and is held under England Athletics Rules of Competition (permit 30812). The course has been officially measured at 10 miles using the shortest race line (Certificate of Course Accuracy 17/095).
Entry fees are listed at £22 for affiliated runners and £24 for unaffiliated runners. Minimum age is 17 years on race day. Entries are non-refundable and cannot be deferred; transfers to another runner are permitted up to midnight on 15/08/2026.
Facilities at Race HQ include parking and toilets; there are no showers and no bag drop, so participants should only bring or wear what they will carry during the race. Tea and coffee will be available and cakes will be sold for the event’s chosen charity. Running with buggies or dogs is not allowed.
Official timing will be provided. Headphones, including bone-conducting types, are prohibited and may lead to disqualification under England Athletics rules. All finishers receive a race medal. Prizes include overall male and female trophies, age-group trophies (Senior, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+), and course record bonuses of £50 for each record.
