Derby Triathlon
Derby Triathlon takes place on Sunday 13th September 2026 at Etwall Leisure Centre, Hilton Road, Etwall, Derby DE65 6HZ. The event offers individual, relay and corporate team entries and is run under British Triathlon Federation rules.

- Swim 400 m (16 lengths)
- Cycle 18 km
- Run 5 km
The swim is held in a six lane 25 m pool at Etwall Leisure Centre. Swimmers start in the shallow end on a time trial basis and exit via the pool fire exit to reach the transition area on the adjacent field.
The cycle course follows local roads through Etwall and surrounding villages, including country lanes and multiple roundabouts. The route is fully marshalled and signposted. The cycle section is non-drafting and cyclists must observe marshal instructions for safety. On return to transition cyclists must dismount at the line and keep helmets fastened until the bike is racked.
Transition racking is designated by race number. Competitors must register and have their bike and helmet checked before entering transition. A BTF referee will be present throughout the day.
Entry categories, fees and day license supplements are published for seniors, juniors and relay teams. Prize awards include first in each five year age category and first relay team.
