Derby Derwent Trail Run
The Derby Derwent Trail Run takes place at Elvaston Castle Country Park in Derby. The event starts and finishes within the parkland and offers three distance options.

The route passes through woodland trails, open parkland and riverside paths, with extended sections alongside the River Derwent. Terrain is predominantly trail and grass with some firm footpaths. The course includes tree lined avenues and more open stretches that allow sustained running pace in places.
The route is fully signed using pink arrows and pink tape, with hazards and road junctions marked using caution signs. On course support includes marshals, water stations and first aid cover. Event services listed for participants include chip timing, an event photographer, a finisher's medal and a completion certificate. The event operates a plastic free approach and participants are asked to bring a reusable cup or bottle for water stations.
