Denver Mother's Day 5K
The Denver Mother's Day 5K is a community run and walk held in Denver City Park near 3201 17th St, Denver, CO 80206. The event uses professional chip timing with live online results and offers optional race-day text and email result notifications.
Registered participants who finish receive a rose for every female finisher and a pancake and sausage breakfast with orange juice provided by Flippin' Flapjacks. There is an optional Bella+Canvas tri-blend race shirt available as an add-on for early registrants. Pre-race packet pickup is available at Fleet Feet, 3000 E 1st Ave #112, Denver, CO 80206, in addition to race-day pickup at the start area.
Awards include custom 3.5 inch die cast medals with lanyards for the top three overall male and female finishers, and top three in each age group. Age groups include 10 and under, 11–14, 15–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, and 70 plus. The course is listed as a USATF certified 5K.
Parking options noted by the organizer include the East High School lot at 1600 City Park Esplanade, lots along 23rd Avenue between York Street and Colorado Boulevard, and street parking south of 17th Avenue between Colorado Boulevard and York Street.
