Event Information

The Denver Mother's Day 5K is scheduled for Sunday, May 10, 2026. The event is a run/walk with a distance of 5 km.

Course and Location

The course takes place on a route through Denver's City Park. The event uses a USATF-certified 5K course. Timing is provided by Colorado Race Timing, offering chip timing with live results and optional race-day text or email updates.

Registration and Fees

The registration fee for adults is $30.92, which includes a $2.93 fee. A youth price of $25.00 is available for participants aged 14 and under. The price is scheduled to increase after February 27, 2026.

Participants who register by April 19, 2026, are eligible for a race t-shirt described as a super-soft Bella + Canvas tri-blend shirt (unisex, form-fitted). T-shirts will not be available after this date.

Race-day registration opens at 7:30 AM.

Packet Pickup

A pre-race packet pickup is offered on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The location is Vitamin Cottage Natural Food Markets at 2053 S. Colorado Blvd in Denver.

Awards

Awards are given in the form of custom 3.5-inch die-cast medals with lanyards. They are awarded to the top three overall male and female finishers, and to the top three finishers in each of the following age groups:

  • 10 & Under
  • 11–14
  • 15–19
  • 20–29
  • 30–39
  • 40–49
  • 50–59
  • 60–69
  • 70+

Amenities and Features

Every female participant receives a rose at the finish line. A pancake and sausage breakfast with orange juice, provided by Flippin' Flapjacks, is included for registered participants.

The event offers parking options including the East High School lot at 1600 City Park Esplanade, lots along 23rd Avenue between York Street and Colorado Blvd, and street parking south of 17th Avenue between Colorado Blvd and York Street. Participants are advised to avoid Denver Zoo and Museum parking lots.
