Denver Fair 5K Run
The Denver Fair 5K Run is a community road race held as part of the Denver Fair at Denver Memorial Park in Denver, Pennsylvania. The course begins in the fairgrounds, runs through the Borough of Denver, and finishes back on the fairgrounds.
The event welcomes runners and walkers of all ages; walkers use the same 5K course. Entry fees vary by registration date: a lower fee applies for registrations received by August 28 and includes a Denver Fair 5K cotton shirt, while a higher fee applies to later entries and race day registrations. T-shirts are available while supplies last and size requests are honored when possible. Online registration is available with a nominal service fee and closes the Wednesday before the race.
Awards include a cash prize for the top male and female overall. The top male and female in the 14 and under and 15 to 19 categories receive ride bands to use the night of the race. Additional awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in these age groups: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, and 70 and over. Finish line timing and results are provided by Pretzel City Sports and posted on their results page.
