Denton Dash Family 5k
The Denton Dash Family 5k is the 14th annual Denton ISD Family 5k and vendor fair held in Denton, Texas. The event uses LaGrone Academy as its listed place of activity and includes a community 5k run/walk and a vendor fair. Participants are required to follow and stay on the course and must complete the entire course without outside assistance.
An early packet pick up is offered for participants who register by April 16, 2026. Early packet pick up takes place on Wednesday, April 22 at the Cox Communications Center, 1212 N. Elm Street, Denton, TX 76201. Race day includes walk up registration, on site packet pick up, and the 5k run/walk.
Entry fees vary by registration date and group size: $30 until March 28 with guaranteed shirt size, $25 for groups of five or more until March 28, $35 from March 29 through April 16 without guaranteed shirt size, $40 from April 17 through April 24 when early packet pick up is not available and shirt size is not guaranteed, and $45 on race day with shirt size and availability not guaranteed.
Awards include a Top School Award trophy and trophies for top male and female. Medals are awarded per age group with four medals per group, organized by the listed age ranges. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
