The Denton Dash Family 5k is the 13th annual Denton ISD Family 5k & Vendor Fair. It is scheduled for Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Denton, TX. The event location is Denton High School, 3001 Bronco Way, Denton, TX 76207. The event format is a single 5K run/walk. Participants must follow and stay on the course and must complete the entire course unaided. A course map is provided as a downloadable PDF.

Registration, fees and awards

Registration opens January 2, 2026 at 12:00am CST. Entry fees vary by registration date. The listed prices include: $30 (until April 12; guaranteed shirt size), $25 for groups of 5+ before April 12, $35 for April 13 - May 1 (shirt size not guaranteed), $40 for May 2 - May 9 (early packet pick-up not available; shirt size and availability not guaranteed), and $45 for May 10 (shirt size and availability not guaranteed).

Awards include a Top School trophy and trophies for top male and top female. Age-group medals are awarded as four medals per age group (two male, two female) for these divisions: 4-8, 9-11, 12-14, 15-18, 19-22, 23-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+.
