Denton Celebrate Life 5K
The event is the 5th Annual Celebrate Life Survivors 5K presented by Texas Oncology–Denton Cancer Center and benefiting the Texas Oncology Foundation. It is organized to raise funds that remain in the Denton community to support cancer patients and their families through assistance and survivorship programs.
The event program includes:
- 5K run and walk
- Survivor Celebration Lap (walking only)
Packet pickup is scheduled at Texas Oncology–Denton, 2600 Scripture Street, Denton, TX 76201, on Friday, October 17. Race day is at North Lakes Park, 2001 W. Windsor Drive, Denton, TX 76207, on Saturday, October 18.
Registration and fees noted for the event include an early-bird rate of $25 on or before September 27, a $35 rate after September 27, and a $15 kids registration for ages 12 and under. Survivor Celebration Lap registration is free; an event t-shirt is available for a fee of $5. Teams of five or more receive a $5 discount per registration. Participants may register as individual fundraisers or create or join team fundraisers to raise additional support.
