Denbies Santa Run
Denbies Santa Run is a Christmas fun run held at Denbies Wine Estate in Dorking. The event is not timed; there are numbers and medals but no prizes for finishing first. Entry includes a Santa suit (one size fits most, with a children's size for under 10s), a finishers medal, free race photos available to download, free parking, a mince pie and a cup of mulled wine or a soft drink. Participants may wear their own suit or decorate the supplied suit.
The course is two laps of a 2.5 km route, broadly circular around the main building and using parts of the North Downs Way. The surface is mixed concrete, dirt trails and grass, and sections through woodland may be muddy. The route will be marked and marshalled in key areas and is suitable for running buggies and strollers. Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult.
The event is supported by the local charity Eikon, which will have participants, a presence in the start and finish area, and volunteer support on the day. A suggested fundraising target of £50 is indicated for charity places. Standard entry fees are listed as Adults £28 and Children under 15 £15. Once an entry is accepted refunds are not available; entries may be deferred to 2027 or transferred if the organiser is notified in writing by the stated deadline.
