Event overview
Denbies Santa Run takes place on Sunday 14 December 2025 at Denbies Wine Estate, Dorking. The event is a Christmas-themed fun run organised in partnership with Denbies Vineyard and is in its seventh year. The race is not timed; numbers and finishers' medals are provided but there are no prizes for finishing position. The charity partner Eikon will have a presence at the start/finish area and will provide some volunteers.
Race format and logistics
- 5 km (two laps of a 2.5 km route)
The route broadly follows a circular course around the main Denbies building and includes sections of the North Downs Way. Surfaces include concrete, dirt trails and grass; parts may be muddy and the course is suitable for running buggies/strollers. Organisers provide a Santa suit with entry (one size fits all, plus a children's size for kids under 10); participants may wear their own suits. The entry fee includes a finishers medal, a post-run mulled wine or soft drink, a mince pie, free parking and free race photos (digital downloads). Children under 15 must be accompanied by an adult. Entries close on Thursday 7 December or when the event reaches capacity. Once an entry is accepted no refunds are available; entries can be deferred or transferred if organisers are notified in writing by the deadline stated by the organiser.
