Demi-marathon Moreau

Demi-marathon Moreau - Rouyn-Noranda, August 16, 2026

The 11th edition of the Demi-marathon Moreau will take place on August 16, 2026 in Rouyn-Noranda. The event base is the athletics track of the Université du Québec en Abitibi-Témiscamingue and routes run along the shores of Lake Osisko. For the city's 100th anniversary a marathon is included on the program.

Distances offered:

• Marathon - 42.2 km (two loops of 21.1 km)
• Half marathon - 21.1 km
• 10 km
• 5 km
• 2.5 km (reserved for ages 6 to 14)
• 800 m (ages 6 to 10)
• 400 m (ages 1 to 5)

The 400 m and 800 m children’s races are free, not timed, and require advance registration. The 2.5 km is reserved for children aged 6 to 14 inclusive; an adult companion can be registered with a child for that distance. A free childcare/animation service is available during the races but requires registration at the time of race registration.

Each participant receives a participation medal and prizes are awarded to the top three women and top three men in each distance. Runners registered on or before July 26, 2026 will receive a commemorative t-shirt; no singlet will be offered this year. Transaction fees are added at registration.
