General Information
The Course à pied Fonderie Horne is part of the Rouyn-Noranda Winter Festival and will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026. This is the 17th edition of the event.
Distances and Start Times
The event offers three distances, with a single start time at 7:00 PM:
- 2.5 km
- 5 km
- 10 km
Walkers are permitted on the 2.5 km and 5 km courses, starting two minutes after the runners.
Pricing
Registration is open until February 20, 2026 at 5:00 PM. Fees vary by date and distance:
- 10 km: $35.00 until February 6, then $45.00
- 5 km: $35.00 until February 6, then $45.00
- 2.5 km: $25.00 until February 6, then $30.00
Participation is free for runners aged 18 and under, but registration and proof of identity are required. Taxes and transaction fees apply at payment, and no refunds are available.
Material Pick-up
Bib and shirt pick-up will take place on race day, starting at 4:00 PM, inside the tent located on the soccer field at the Winter Festival site.
