Volunteers, pacers and policies
Volunteer roles are offered for tasks such as bib pickup (Thursday, Friday and morning), aid stations on the course, final refreshment station, bag drops, medal handing, setup, marshaling, bar service (18+), and bike pacers (openers and closers). Pacer slots are listed for set target times ranging from 25 minutes for 5 km up to 2 h 30 for the half-marathon; some pacer slots may be sold out.
The event policy states registrations are non-refundable unless the purchaser bought the offered insurance. Registrations may be transferred to a future edition or to another event subject to availability and organizer approval. Distance changes or bib transfers are accepted up to one month before the event; after that a CA$15 plus taxes fee applies. Participants are informed of risks inherent to road or trail running.
