McMasterville Half Marathon

The event is based at 255 Boulevard Constable, McMasterville, with starts and finishes on the main site. Multiple race distances are offered for participants of different ages.

Distances offered:

• 1 km youth without registration
• 5 km
• 10 km
• Half marathon 21.1 km

Course surfaces include paved road and some gravel sections depending on the distance. Approximate elevation is 0 m for all distances. Course formats: one 5 km loop for the 5 km, two 5 km loops for the 10 km, and three loops of about 7 km for the half marathon. The 1 km youth run requires no prior registration; children receive a snack and a participation certificate.

Aid stations are placed at the locations specified per distance and provide water, cola, Gatorade, bananas and XACT bars.

Timing is done with RFID technology using a chip-integrated bib. Live results and final results are available online, with age category rankings and downloadable certificates.

Registration includes an official bib, official timing, a participation medal, on-course and post-race refreshments, and access to event photos. Details for bib pickup will be communicated later.

Medals are awarded to the top three men and top three women overall in the 5 km, 10 km and half marathon, and medals are also given to all finishers of those distances. The event operates rain or shine; after registration there are no transfers or refunds. Liability insurance is in place, first aid services are available on site, and dogs are not allowed.
