Champlain Half Marathon
The Champlain event offers several races along the Promenade Samuel-de Champlain, between Station de la Côte and the Quebec bridge. The promenade runs along the mouth of the Saint Lawrence River and connects urban architecture with natural parks. The routes are described as flat and scenic.
The Half Marathon 21.1 km (Maple 3) starts at Quai des Cageux on boulevard Champlain, continues toward Old Quebec, then returns toward the bridges. The course alternates between pedestrian paths and the cycle track and finishes at Station de la Côte. The 10 km follows the promenade cycle track with continuous river views. The 5 km is a flat urban route along the promenade, and the 2.5 km is a short accessible option for families and beginners.
A 20 minute kids race takes place on a secured loop of about 500 m; children can complete as many laps as they wish at their own pace.
Most races start and finish at Station de la Côte, except the Maple 3 half marathon which departs from Quai des Cageux. The event is held across two days on May 22 and 23, 2027. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
