Delirium Ultra
The Delirium Ultra is a looped ultramarathon held on Lady's Island in Beaufort, South Carolina. The course uses a 1.65 mile loop and offers timed-race options for runners to log as many miles as they can within set-duration events.
Racing options:
- 6 hour race
- 12 hour race
- 24 hour race
The event features a single main aid station supplying water, Tailwind, soft drinks, fruit, a range of sweet and salty ultra snacks, prepared hot foods through the night, and occasional hot meal offerings. The race is cup free; runners must bring a reusable cup or hand held bottle. Limited edition reusable cups will be distributed at packet pick-up through the event partner.
Logistics include parking and a staging area near 206 Springfield Road; participants are asked to follow event signage to the designated parking and staging areas and to avoid entering the private driveway at that address. Camping and crew staging areas are available adjacent to the course, with camper access limited and requiring prior arrangement.
Bibs use chip timing and must be visible for lap scoring. Awards include finisher medals for each timed race and a belt buckle for 100 miles or more in the 24 hour event.
