Delightful® Run for Women - May 30, 2026
The 48th Delightful® Run for Women takes place in downtown Albany and is offered in two formats: an in-person 5K held on May 30, 2026, and a virtual 5K that can be completed on a self-chosen course from May 24 to June 1, 2026. The event weekend includes a Health and Fitness Expo, free Kids Runs, and the Capital Kids 3K.

- Kids Runs: 1 mile, 50 m, 100 m, 200 m, 400 m
Additional programs include a Training Challenge that begins March 23, 2026, with multiple proposed workout locations around the region. Packet pickup is scheduled on the days before the in-person event at the Armory at Russell Sage College and on race morning at a tent in Academy Park on Eagle Street.
The event supports team entries across several categories and offers awards for team competition. A referral program provides refunds when registered participants recruit others; the training program and the Run for Women both include referral refund options. Volunteer opportunities are available and the organizers also provide professional photography and video coverage at the finish area.
