About the race
The Delightful® Run for Women is a celebrated all-female running event held annually in downtown Albany, New York, near the New York State Capitol and City Hall. Now in its 47th year, this event features a 5K race known for its scenic urban course with a spacious start and a gradual downhill finish through beautiful parks and historic architecture. The event also includes a 3K run for youth, a Kids’ Run with shorter distances for children ages 3 to 10, and a Health & Fitness Expo attracting over 10,000 attendees.
