Delightful® Run for Women : May 30, 2026, Albany, NY
The 48th edition of the Delightful® Run for Women will be offered in two formats: an in-person event in downtown Albany on Saturday, May 30, 2026, and a virtual option with a participation window from May 24 to June 1, 2026. The event weekend includes a Health and Fitness Expo, free Kids Runs, the Capital Kids 3K, and a 5K race. The event location is downtown Albany at Washington Avenue and Eagle Street, Albany, NY 12210.

Packet pickup days and locations are listed as Thursday and Friday at the Armory at Russell Sage College, 130 New Scotland Avenue, and on race morning at a packet pickup tent in Academy Park on Eagle Street. The event includes team awards in categories such as Sister/Sister, Mother/Daughter, Family & Friends, Corporate, High School, and Non Binary. An elite athlete field is by invitation.
A 16th Training Challenge begins March 23, 2026, with multiple proposed weekday and weekend locations across the region and a recommended Saturday group workout. A referral program offers refunds when multiple people register: for example, two registrations for the Training Challenge trigger a $20 refund for the referrer; two registrations for the 5K trigger a $10 refund, with the program able to reduce the entry fee down to a stated minimum.
