DeLeon Dash 5K
The DeLeon Dash 5K is the fourth annual 5K held inside and around DeLeon Springs State Park in De Leon Springs, Florida, on October 17, 2026. The event raises funds for the Friends of DeLeon Springs State Park.

The course runs through park grounds and nearby trails, passing wooded areas, the spring pool, the Old Sugar Mill, and stands of large oak trees. Race surfaces include sidewalks, paved roads, dirt roads, and unpaved trails. The event uses disposable electronic timing tags attached to bibs and posts searchable online results.
Entry details include a capped field of 300 entries and a staged fee schedule: 03/18–05/31 $35, 06/01–07/31 $40, 08/01–10/17 $45. Registration is final and there are no refunds. Virtual participants receive a race shirt and medal and may pick them up onsite or pay $12 for mailing.
Race services and post-race provisions include a unique T-shirt, finisher medal, age group and overall awards, water stops with cups, post-race snacks and complimentary mini pancakes from Old Sugar Mill Pancake House, downloadable photos, and parking inside the park.
