Défi endurance Backyard 2026

The Défi endurance Backyard is a running event with no timing clock where all participants run together. The event takes place on May 16, 2026 at Parc régional de l'Île-Lebel in Repentigny. The activity runs from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The goal is to complete a 6.7 km loop every hour, as many times as desired. Each new loop starts every 60 minutes with a group start. The day ends after a maximum of 12 loops or when only one runner remains. Managing rest time between loops is a key part of the challenge.

Participation is free, with a suggested donation to the Fondation cancer du sein du Québec. The event is capped at 300 participants and on-site registration is not available. Online registration must be completed before May 10 to receive a bib number.

On-site amenities include toilets, first aid service, a children's play area, picnic tables, and a bag storage area. Participants are advised to bring their own food, water, and a chair or blanket for resting between loops. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
