Backyard Endurance Challenge 2026 : Club de course Les Aspirants
The Backyard Endurance Challenge takes place as a single-day event at Parc régional de l’Île-Lebel in Repentigny on May 16, 2026. The format uses a repeating loop: each participant runs a 6.7 km loop every hour, with all runners starting together at the beginning of each hour. The day ends after up to 12 laps or when only one runner remains.
There is no official timing; the event emphasizes endurance and managing rest periods between laps. Registrations for the 2026 edition were full. The event is free to enter with a suggested donation to the Fondation cancer du sein du Québec; all donations and event profits are donated to that foundation. A technical shirt is available for purchase during registration.
A participant guide provides practical details. On-site services include aid stations, toilets, first aid, a children’s play area, picnic tables, a bag drop area (the club is not responsible for loss or damage), and various door prizes.
