About the race
Défi des Couleurs Simard is a fall trail-running event held in the Mont-Sainte-Anne region near Boischatel, Quebec, scheduled for October 17–19, 2025. The weekend features a 5 km Trail Nocturne with headlamp included, designed as a non-competitive option for runners and walkers. For longer distances, participants can choose among 11, 17, 26, 32 and 42 km trails, plus shorter Sentier routes of 1, 6.5, 10 and 21 km along the Jean Larose river.
The courses mix rustic, wild terrain (about 80% single track) with rolling and technical sections, set against autumn colors and breathtaking scenery on well-marked, safe trails. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
