Defenders Dash 5K Fun Run and Walk
The Defenders Dash is a second annual fun run and walk held at Rohrbach's Farm Market in Catawissa, PA on May 16, 2026. The event is a 5K (3.1 miles) route and all profits support Columbia Country Christian’s men’s and women’s soccer program.
The course is an out-and-back on paved rural roads near the farm with rolling hills and short climbs. The race begins and ends at the farm. Prizes are planned for overall male and female winners and for winners in age group brackets; age brackets will be determined based on participant numbers and ages.
Registration opens January 22, 2026 and closes March 15, 2026. The registration fee is $20.00. Day-of registration is available from 8:30 to 9:30. The organizer notes that shirts are not guaranteed after April 25.
Following the run there are seasonal strawberry activities at Rohrbach’s Farm Market and a meal option from Big Dan’s BBQ. The event description indicates activities intended for families and supporters as well as participants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
