Duxbury Education Foundation 46th Annual 4th of July 5K Road Race
The Duxbury Education Foundation organizes its 46th annual 4th of July 5K Road Race in Duxbury. The event is a family-friendly 5K walk and run through residential and scenic neighborhoods, held on Saturday, July 4th at the Steele Athletic Building, 130 St. George Street, Duxbury. Registration opens April 25, 2026.
The race supports innovative educational programs in Duxbury Public Schools. Participants are encouraged to wear patriotic colors or colonial- and Americana-inspired costumes. Awards are given to top finishers in each age category and to the most patriotic runner.
The event has limited capacity with 1,000 bibs available for the 5K and additional spots for a kids fun run. Participant shirts are provided to 1,000 5K entrants and 100 kids fun run entrants on a first come, first served basis.
