Deer Dash 5K and Fun Run
The Deer Dash 5K and Fun Run takes place on May 9, 2026 in New Market, Maryland, at Deer Crossing Elementary School, 10601 Finn Drive. The event is produced by the Deer Crossing Elementary PTA and is held annually to support school improvements and programs that benefit DCES staff and children.
The program includes a chip timed 5K that runs through the Summerfield neighborhood of Lake Linganore and a non timed Fun Run on the recess grounds behind the school.
