Event Information
The Deductible Dash is a fundraising event organized by the Gamma Iota Sigma chapter at Saint Joseph's University. The event includes several race options on the university's campus. The proceeds from the event benefit the Billy Angelina Endowment, which supports apprentices new to the insurance and risk management industry.
Events and Entry Fees
The event features two categories of activities, each with separate pricing for students and non-students.
- 5K Run: $15 for students, $25 for all others.
- Walk: $15 for students, $25 for all others.
Participants can race as an individual or form a team.
Location and Logistics
The event takes place at Saint Joseph’s University on the Chapel Lawn, with an address at 5600 City Ave. in Philadelphia. Parking for event guests is available along Cardinal Avenue and in the Mandeville Hall Parking Lot, with the entrance off of 54th street in front of Hawks' Landing.
Awards and Timing
The 5K is a timed race using chip technology attached to race bibs. The race is professionally timed by the Bryn Mawr Racing Company. Results will be available on the event website and sent by email. Awards are given to the top three women and top three men in the form of gold, silver, and bronze medals. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
