2026 DECU Glow Run
The 2026 DECU Glow Run is the 9th annual charity 5k held on June 25th at Forsyth Park in Forsyth, Illinois. Proceeds from this year's event benefit Empowerment Opportunity Center. The event uses a loop course that starts and ends at the Forsyth Park tennis courts and runs around the park, primarily on the bike path and sidewalks.
Online registration is open until June 24th, and registering by May 31st guarantees a t-shirt and glow items. Entry fees are tiered: an early bird rate of $25 for individual runners, $35 for ages 13 and older after May 31st, $25 for ages 12 and under, and no charge for ages 4 and under.
Participants receive race features such as a t-shirt, glow items, swag, and a Fleet Feet coupon. Medals are awarded to first place in each age and gender division, including separate male and female categories for 15 and younger, 16 to 30, 31 to 50, and 51 and older. The course will be visibly marked and lit, with volunteers assisting with directions. Post race food is available. A brightest glow contest offers a $50 gift card to the winner.
