The Deafinitely Not Different 5k and Fun Run takes place on Saturday, March 28, 2026. It is the tenth year of the event. The location is Vines High School in Plano, Texas.

Purpose and Beneficiary
The event is a run/walk that benefits students attending the Plano Regional Day School Program for the Deaf. This program provides services for over 500 families of Deaf and Hard of Hearing students in Collin County, Richardson, and Coppell.
Funds raised support various annual activities for students. These can include funding family attendance at information fairs, preschool field trips, competition entries for teens, books for middle schoolers, and extra learning materials.
Event Details
A shirt is included with registration for participants. Volunteer shirts are also provided. The event takes place regardless of weather conditions.
Parking for the event is available at the Admin building or on the East side of Vines High School. The Fun Run course is on the West side of the school.
Day-of registration is available, though shirt size and availability are not guaranteed. Packet pickup is scheduled for the evenings of March 26 and 27, with the location to be determined. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
