Deadman Peaks Trail Run
The Deadman Peaks Trail Run takes place in the high desert landscape near Cuba, New Mexico. The course is situated within the Rio Puerco Valley and utilizes a section of the Continental Divide Trail. Participants run through rolling terrain with elevations ranging between 6,350 and 7,400 feet.
The race route consists primarily of single track trails, supplemented by some jeep trails. The underfoot conditions vary throughout the course, featuring surfaces such as sand, rocks, and slick rock. The terrain includes several hills located along the valley route.
