Dead Last Ultra

Dead Last Ultra is a backyard ultramarathon and festival held at Waters Farm in Sutton, Massachusetts on October 24, 2026. The event uses a single loop repeated until only one runner remains and includes a community run and family activities on race day.

The ultramarathon follows a 4.167 mile loop run once each hour on the bell until one runner remains. The ultra field is limited to 125 runners; the 2026 ultra entry fee is $125 and the ultra field is sold out. Festival admission and the community run remain available.

Waters Farm is a 1757 homestead and preserve with roughly 120 acres overlooking Lake Manchaug. The loop is about half wooded trail, some along the lake, and half open pasture.

The festival day features live music, food trucks, kids activities and games, and a Halloween costume contest. Festival admission prices are listed for adults, children, and seniors.
