DDC Mark Carpenter Memorial 5K

Falcon 5K at Divine Child High School

This annual memorial community running event takes place on the Divine Child campus in Dearborn, Michigan. The program includes a Tot Trot for children ages 6 and under, a 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk, and a 5K open to all ages. All races begin on the school track and family activities take place on the field and concourse after the final race.

• 1/4 Mile Tot Trot (ages 6 and under)

Online registration offers an early price that includes a shirt when completed by the stated registration deadline; later registration is available without a shirt and onsite registration is offered on race day for an increased fee. Race proceeds benefit the Divine Child Alumni Association and the Divine Child High School girls cross country team. Water is provided along the course and at the finish area. Awards for top finishers will be announced during the post race gathering on the track, and 5K finish medals are awarded to the top three in each age group. Complimentary hot dogs and chips are provided after the final race and family games and refreshments are offered for participants and their families.
