Dawson Forest Georgia's Area 51 Trail Races take place in Dawsonville, GA on May 24, 2026 near GPS coordinates 34.3501660067541, -84.1419026243286. The event offers two distances:

Courses combine forest service roads and single track. The route will be marked with turn signs and supported by volunteers. Course maps are available through the event's Facebook page. All racers receive a t-shirt and a custom finisher race poker chip.
All participants must complete a separate race waiver required for entry to the wildlife management area on race morning. Organizers note that Dawson Forest WMA covers a large area and advise using the provided directions rather than general map searches to find the race location. Directions from Hwy 400 guide participants to Dawson Forest Road, through an intersection, and to the south entrance gate, with the parking area and trailhead immediately to the right after entering.
