Event Overview
The annual Dave's Turkey Chase 5K is a Thanksgiving Day event held in Downtown Toledo. Hosted at the Glass City Center, this gathering serves as a fundraiser for Cherry Street Mission Ministries. Participants are encouraged to bring donations of travel-sized personal hygiene items and new undergarments for men and women to support the mission's work.
Course Details
The route begins at the intersection of Summit Street and Jefferson Avenue. It leads participants past 5/3 Field and onto Huron Street, passing the Huntington Center. The course continues across Cherry Street before returning to Summit Street. The finish line is located in front of Promenade Park. The course remains open for 1.5 hours, and the field is limited to a maximum of 5,500 runners.

- 1/4 mile and 1/2 mile kids run

Participation Information
A minimum age of 6 is required for the standard race distances. The kids' events consist of a 1/4 mile run followed by a 1/2 mile option; while these are free of charge, all participants must be registered. Family package pricing is available for groups of four or more people registering for the 5K together. A virtual option is also provided for those participating away from the downtown course.
