DAVE'S TURKEY CHASE 5K
The annual Dave's Turkey Chase 5K, presented by First Solar, is a Thanksgiving Day running and walking event in downtown Toledo that benefits Cherry Street Mission Ministries. The event includes in-person and virtual options and lists WTOL 11 as a media sponsor.
The event program includes:
- TURKEY CHASE 5K
- 1 MILE WALK
- KIDS TURKEY CHASE for ages 1 to 12
- VIRTUAL TURKEY CHASE
The 5K and one mile courses start outside the Glass City Center at Summit Street and Jefferson, run past 5/3 Field, continue onto Huron Street by the Huntington Center, cross Cherry Street, and finish in front of Promenade Park. A family package rate is offered for 5K registrants with a minimum of four people.
Participants are asked to bring donations for Cherry Street Mission Ministries. The most needed items listed are travel sized personal hygiene items and new men's and women's undergarments.
