OH/MI 8K & 5K : Sylvania summer run and concert
This annual summer event presented by Dave's Running Shop combines a themed road race with an on-site concert and post-race celebration at Centennial Terrace in Sylvania. The event uses a 90s theme and includes live music during the post-race gathering.
The event offers two race distances:
- 8K route that runs through both Ohio and Michigan
- 5K shorter, faster course option
Live music is provided by The Wet Bandits Band, who perform 90s-era pop, rock, hip-hop and other genres. Every registered runner receives a free drink and a dinner ticket for the post-race celebration. There is also a concert-only option for attendees who come for the music and party.
Packet pickup is available at local Dave's Running store locations, including Perrysburg and Sylvania. The presenting sponsor for the event is WHETRO Wealth Management.
The description above focuses on the event structure, distances, entertainment, and participant amenities. Specific start times and exact race-day logistics are not included here. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
