Dave's Dash 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk
Dave's Dash is a second annual fundraising run held in Souderton, PA at Souderton Borough Community Park on September 27. The event includes timed and untimed distances and is presented as a fundraiser with proceeds donated to the Johns Hopkins Heart and Vascular Institute.

The 5K course runs through local parks and streets in Souderton and includes some hills. The event uses a clock at the finish, provides mile splits, instant results, and refreshments. The event is held rain or shine. There are no refunds and awards are not mailed.
Awards for the 5K include top male and female overall plus age group medals for both sexes in the following categories: 14 and under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69. For ages 70 and over there are two medals per sex. The 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk is open to all ages and will not receive awards to keep the activity focused on participation.
Entry fees vary by distance and by registration date. Registrations postmarked by September 14 include a guaranteed t shirt while supplies last. Children 12 and under have a reduced entry fee when entered in either race. Participants entering both events must register for each event separately.
