The event is a 5K walk, roll, run, and ride that thanks those who served and raises awareness of issues affecting ill and injured veterans. The event supports fundraising to provide no-cost services to veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors.
The course is USATF-certified and all participants receive a timing chip as part of registration. A motorcycle processional is part of the event; motorcycle participants register at the booth on Mehring Way at Joe Nuxhall Way and follow on-site instructions for lining up and parking.
