DAV 5K Cincinnati
The DAV 5K Cincinnati is a community event on November 7, 2026, held at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati. The event is billed as a walk, roll, run, or ride to honor America’s veterans and to raise funds and awareness for services that support ill and injured veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors. Participants can register and create fundraising pages to support DAV's work.
The course is USATF certified and event registration includes a timing chip for each participant. Official race results are accessible through the RacePenguin timing app. Finisher awards are planned for the top Veteran male and female finishers and the top Civilian male and female finishers.
Logistics note several parking garages and lots serving the ballpark and indicate multiple street closures in the vicinity of the start and finish that may affect access. A motorcycle procession is organized with a designated motorcycle registration area near Mehring Way and Joe Nuxhall Way. Packet pickup details are to be announced, with an option to collect race materials on race morning at the venue. Bag check will be located in front of Great American Ball Park. A post-race gathering is scheduled at The Banks on Freedom Way where participating veterans may use the ticket from their bib for a drink and snack at one of four nearby locations.
