DAV 5K Cincinnati : November 7, 2026
The DAV 5K Cincinnati is a community event presented by USAA that brings together walkers, rollers, runners and riders to honor America’s veterans and raise funds for their support. The event takes place at Great American Ball Park in Cincinnati and features a USATF certified 5K course. All registered participants receive a timing chip for results tracking via the RacePenguin Timing mobile app, and finisher awards will be given to the top Veteran Male and Female and the top Civilian Male and Female.
Event logistics include day-of packet pickup at the ballpark and an additional packet pickup location at DAV National Headquarters in Erlanger, KY. A motorcycle ride is organized with a registration booth at the corner of Mehring Way and Joe Nuxhall Way, and a bag check will be available in front of Great American Ball Park; unclaimed bags will be taken to DAV Headquarters for later retrieval by appointment. The DAV Store will be open on race day, and a post-event gathering will be held at The Banks where participating veterans may use the ticket from their bib for a drink and snack at one of four sponsor locations.
Participants may also fundraise to support DAV’s no-cost services for veterans, their families, caregivers and survivors. Several Cincinnati buildings will be illuminated in green as part of the Light the City Green observance. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
